Fantastic! The modifications here might not be as thrilling as the new video in the other releases but it's incredible to be able to play Wing Commander I correctly at the touch of a button. I strongly endorse choosing the "WCAT" version which is so sharp and the speed is just perfect. If you don't know, Wing Commander I has had speed issues that crippled it since the 486... and now it's prefect again! Hurray!

When it comes to the gamepad controls, you can tell someone really put some thought into them. Excellent.

This is amazing. Whatever you feel about EA currently, we need to remember that there are people there who truly care about games. This collection release is the perfect example. Taking community involement, CREDITING THEM, and staying true to the original game. Wing Commander is one of my favourite franchises and to be able to play them again is wonderful. This is my all time favorite game. I grew up playing this game with my best friend. We alternated taking turns playing the missions. It was like staring in your own sci-fi space saga. Plays and runs great on the Steam Deck!
